Manager of Business Operations
Liz Lindsey is the Manager of Business Operations. With over 15 years of experience in higher education administration, Liz is passionate about fostering collaborative relationships and driving operational efficiency. She specializes in overseeing business operations, budget and grant management, and implementing effective business processes while always striving to improve and support her colleagues. Currently, she also serves as the Lead Administrator for the Fiber & Biopolymer Research Institute (FBRI) and Davis College Post Award Grants at Texas Tech University. In this role, she oversees the business office and oversees over 275 active grants. Previously, Liz was the business manager for a national technical assistance center out of the College of Education at Texas Tech and director for the Office of the Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, directing fiscal and administrative operations. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Wayland Baptist University and is Smartsheet Certified. Outside of work, Liz enjoys reading, volunteering, and spending time with her husband, four children and first grandchild.
